Fiber to the home
A fiber-optic line reaches the home. Confirm the plan’s download and upload speeds, equipment and installation requirements.
North Carolina internet options depend on the exact property, unit and provider. Compare fiber, cable and fixed wireless using the actual connection, upload needs, equipment, installation timing and total cost offered at that address.

Ask what reaches the property. Fiber in part of a provider’s network does not necessarily mean fiber all the way into your home.

Fiber and coaxial cable can form different parts of the network. Ask about the connection and actual upload speed offered at the property.
