What must the address result include?
Keep the unit identifier with the full address and ask which retail product can be activated there. GFiber’s Triangle page [1], AT&T Fiber [2] and Ripple’s checker [3] are research routes. They do not establish coverage in every building or dealer access through Tarheel Connect.
How do you compare a rent-billed package with another plan?
Ask which internet charge remains in rent even if you order something else. Compare the additional bill against the included option, recording the equipment and promotional end date. A separate service is not cheaper simply because its advertised rate is lower than the rent-billed package you cannot remove.
| Check | Ask the property and provider |
|---|---|
| Unit eligibility | Which exact unit and product can be activated? |
| Included service | What charge is already billed through rent? |
| Last-mile handoff | Does optical fiber reach this unit, or another building handoff? |
| Access | Who grants entry to common equipment areas and approves wiring? |
| Equipment | What stays with the apartment and what must be returned? |
| Handover | What accepted appointment or activation process applies? |
Who approves a new indoor route?
Ask the property manager and provider to agree on allowed work before scheduling. Do not assume a lease allows drilling or a shared telecom room is accessible. After activation, check the devices and rooms you use and keep return instructions for any old rental equipment.
